Can a Murphy bed go where there is a window?

Sometimes, yes.

A window does not automatically make a wall unusable for a Murphy bed. But the solution has to be designed around the complete room — not simply around the mattress size.

Window access, curtains or blinds, available wall structure, bed opening clearance and the way the room is used during the day all need to be considered.
